The Draken S is made out of advanced polycarbonate material that is used also in the construction of helmets for astronauts and in bullet-proofing, and guarantees high level of performance in terms of safety.  It is also packed with lots of other features, such as a large nose deflector (supplied free of charge) which helps prevent your visor from fogging due to your warm breath on cold days.  It also comes with a chin curtain also supplied free of charge and features the micrometric buckle closure, making it a joy to get on and off.

The Draken S visor has a special 2.2 mm thickness that makes it safer and more resistant to impacts.  It is made of an optical polycarbonate anti-scratch material that ensures optimal vision.  It also “Pinlock ready”, which means that you are able to purchase a Pinlock insert for the visor to ensure that it doesn’t fog on you.  The Pinlock is an option, be sure to order it if you feel you need it.

To keep you cool the Draken S has multiple air vents, a total of 7 in fact, which ensure excellent internal ventilation.  2 of the air vents are located on the chin area, 1 on the top of the helmet and then 4 rear outer vents to expel the hot air.  Should you wish to keep your head warm, the 2 on the front and 1 on top are able to be closed by simply sliding the tab closed.
